AtariLeaf #2 Posted May 3, 2012 I've been itching to GET a GBA SP recently so I can play some old school arcade games on the go.

Atari2008 #4 Posted May 3, 2012 Channel F - crazy I know but I used to have one about two years ago, now I want one again especially so I can play Pac-Man and the Multi-Cart. Also Odyssey2 - no connection to the system. Just felt bad that it was always panned so I want to give it a shot. That one I already own, now I want the homebrews. Reaperman #5 Posted May 3, 2012 I've been itching for atari 2600 games. Shopping around for cheap lots with a game or two I need. I don't know why I bother. I never bother to actually play or even hook up the 2600, and am generally disappointed when I do.
Atari2008 #6 Posted May 3, 2012 I've been itching for atari 2600 games. Shopping around for cheap lots with a game or two I need. I don't know why I bother. I never bother to actually play or even hook up the 2600, and am generally disappointed when I do. I think it's the thrill of the chase. I definitely shop for games far more than I actually play. I like to think that one day I'll sit down and play all of them.
PsychedelicShaman #7 Posted May 3, 2012 I've definitely got N64 fever. I've also got laseractive collecting fever, now that prices have gone up, sigh...
Turbogfx #8 Posted May 3, 2012 In terms of shopping, it's most definitely NES. I just started my collection on that console, so I still need a lot of classics. So that's really fun. In terms of playing, it's usually the Vectrex which draws my attention. :-)
the.golden.ax #9 Posted May 3, 2012 Really depends on the week. This week it's Master System.

Reaperman #11 Posted May 4, 2012 Yesterday while shopping for 2600 games that I'll never play, I fell off the Master System wagon, and bought a bunch of those that I'll never play either. I've plugged my master system in a grand total of once in my life. Good games though.
doubleminor #12 Posted May 4, 2012 (edited) Genesis and Saturn. Recently picked up Shining Force 2 and Akumajou Dracula X (japanese version of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night). Edited May 4, 2012 by doubleminor
SEgamer #13 Posted May 4, 2012 (edited) Had the urge to play Ghostbusters on the Genesis. After about an hour I was reminded that I suck at Genesis games and nearly threw the cart across the room. Edited May 4, 2012 by SEgamer
Reaperman #14 Posted May 4, 2012 and Akumajou Dracula X (japanese version of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night). I love that version of the game. It's not a hard game in general, but Maria rolls over most of it like a tank. It might just be my imagination, but I think the music is a little different/better too. I've plugged my master system in a grand total of once in my life. Good games though. I do this too. Collect for consoles that I either don't play or rarely play. I'm trying to figure out why. What's your reason?
Reaperman #16 Posted May 4, 2012 (edited) I do this too. Collect for consoles that I either don't play or rarely play. I'm trying to figure out why. What's your reason? I didn't already have half of them, the price was right, and I must have some form of hoarding illness. I enjoy shopping and 'getting a good deal,' but all they're really doing is filling up space on my display shelves. For the record I also have the sicknesses of 'buying things intending to keep them sealed,' 'buying individual games I already own in similar condition,' and 'buying games for systems I don't own.' They're not filling up space if they're being displayed. I try to avoid buying games for systems I don't already own, because then it gives me an excuse to buy the system, LOL.
