+Faicuai #51 Posted June 24, 2012 (...) but the seller sold it to me with a 12V 1.5A ac adapter (...) (...) so the chances of having the proper adapter are slim. (...) DO NOT sweat the A/C adapter. It is very likely that original seller DOES NOT have it. The important thing is what HE described (if he described it as your iScan power supply, and if you already provided him with feedback (I hope you did not)). In these cases, you just need to let him know that your sold-kit is INOPERABLE, does not work, and proper power-supply will cost you approx. $30.00. Come to an agreement on a partial or total refund (half of it is acceptable). If no response, NEGATIVE feedback, all the way. But even on this case, you are STILL on the winning-side witch such ridiculously low price for the iScan HD. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 140745884920 GO for it, it should work. Please, NOTE that the A/C-side (wall) prong does not seem to be included, but it seems pretty standard (very easy to find). Enjoy!
bbking67 #52 Posted July 14, 2012 We i received my AC adapter (which cost me $30 shipped from the UK), Not too bad... and the seller agreed to refund me the amount of the auction. I haven't had much time to play, but the iScan works... I noticed that there is no menu option for 16:10 1650x1050 resolution... will the firmware give me that? I might just use a 1280x1024 19" 4:3 screen anyway, since most of the classic systems are 4:3. I'm happy the unit works! so I'm the proud owner of a DVDO iScan HD... the fourth video box I have purchased (generic TV Box from TogerDirect, Zinwell BriteView, DVDO iScan and iScan Pro). The HD Pro looks like it's the easy winner here... though the Zinwell has great image quality for the newer game systems like PS2 and Xbox. Thanks for your help Faicuai... any tips on setting it up for Atari? I haven't built my Svideo cable yet btw... :-(
