flammingcowz #1 Posted May 31, 2012 So the composite video on my standard TV isn't what I thought it could be, so I bought an SVideo cord to hook to my HDTV. The picture is absolutely perfect, but there's a lot of lag which makes a lot of games impossible to play. Is there any way to reduce the lag on an HDTV? Or just get used to it. Thanks
BillyHW #2 Posted May 31, 2012 Why would there be more lag on the s-video vs. the composite? (I've noted too that my LCD has more lag on the composite than the DVI port.)
ham #3 Posted May 31, 2012 Turn off any extra video processing (motion interpolation, etc.). If your TV has a "game mode", turn it on. I hope this helps!
flammingcowz #4 Posted May 31, 2012 Why would there be more lag on the s-video vs. the composite? (I've noted too that my LCD has more lag on the composite than the DVI port.) Composite and svideo have the same lag on an HDTV. The composite I was using on an SDTV because it doesn't have an svideo port.
