Stein #1 Posted January 27, 2003 Don't know if anyone cares or not, I'm doing these for myself but figured I could post a few links and see... Some of the Activision scans are in pretty bad shape, and those games being some of my favorites I started redrawing them. If AtariAge wants to use them in their archives I'd be honored, let me know I can supply more as I do them or post more here, again if anyone is interested. MaxSpeed #2 Posted January 27, 2003 These are nice! Thanks ! Now if I can only get somebody to print these new labels, my carts would look much better ! As most Activision carts are common, I do not care that they would not be origonal. It would just be nice to have good looking carts.
Brad2600 #3 Posted January 27, 2003 If you could find a way to print these out, I'd buy a sheet of them for my Activision games. I have quite a bit of them where the glue is starting to show through the labels. Speaking of Fishing Derby, I LOVE that game! I was playing it with my brother yesterday and I kicked his silly arse at it!
Paul Slocum #4 Posted January 27, 2003 Actually, somebody already did something similar: http://www.ataricart.com/reprolabels.html http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=18317 -Paul
Stein #5 Posted January 28, 2003 actually I'm not in this for money, or to spend money, I started this work with the scans at this website for use in PCAE and was offering them as such, too small a resolution for printing anyhow....

I may take you up on your offer to replace the poor-quality Activision labels on AtariAge with the ones you are cleaning up. While the labels that Dale has recreated (from scratch) are great looking and very clean, they almost look _too good_ in that you would be hard pressed to ever find a label like that in the wild. Dale's are intended to be printed, and we are working with him to make that a reality. I looked at the labels when you first posted them, but now I see the links you posted no longer work. I didn't save them when you first posted them, can you put them back online or email them to me? ..Al
Stein #7 Posted January 30, 2003 Hi Albert, of course, they are back now... was just cleaning up our main site, guess I forgot those were in the acs directory... will leave them there throughout the week then. I had never seen Dales images before the other day, wow, I know that took some work I'm sorry but I don't know where I got the impression he was selling those??? maybe because of the logos on each pic, made me think that they were for the purpose of signifying a demo picture, you know, once you sign up you get higher res pics without the logo (?) aw crap sorry about that anyhow Dale (if you read these forums, not sure). Godzilla #8 Posted January 30, 2003 correct me if i'm wrong, but i think the decathalon label is mis-spelled (decathlon, missing the second a?)
badbrad #9 Posted January 30, 2003 No, it's spelled right. (Decathlon)
