macgoo #1 Posted June 6, 2012 So I found a game I've never played before and both disks are in STX format but I believe STEem doesn't support STX format disks. So how do I either convert the STX files to ST files or what is a SIMPLE emulator to use for playing the games on STX disk images? thanks
+rdemming #2 Posted June 6, 2012 You can't convert STX images to ST images because then you loose the copy protection information stored in STX images. ST images don't support copy protections. STeeM supports STX images but you have to copy the Pasti DLL to the STeeM directory. After that, when STeeM is starting, it should show a dialog that pasti was loaded and it is possible to open STX images. Robert
macgoo #3 Posted June 6, 2012 Thanks, I didn't remember pasti was for STX but googled it out of curiosity last night and downloaded the patch and got the game to work
wingnut4427 #4 Posted December 2, 2015 I've got it installed but for some reason I can't get it to play the STX files.
