Yurkie #9 Posted June 15, 2012 I found a model 2. Thanks for all the replies. I'll pm a few of you for games. Thanks! You might want to look into buying the EverDrive MD. I would highly recommend buying board only and putting it in a case yourself, if you are careful and have some DIY skills. You save a bundle. I bought the Everdrive 64 board only from Stoneagegamer and service was great. http://stoneagegamer.com/mega_everdrive.aspx

I don't know why I keep selling them. I will try to keep this next one around
Grig #12 Posted June 15, 2012 Me too. I finally am keeping one this time - though I did have to sell (selling) two out of my three models!

the.golden.ax #15 Posted June 15, 2012 Yeah, I have to highly recommend an Everdrive as well. Best cartridge you can buy for Genesis.
WSGEXE #16 Posted June 15, 2012 I can't recommend getting actual cartridges highly enough. My Genesis collection is the star of my bookshelf. Unlike the SNES, Genesis games came in proper plastic cases and have held up very well over the years.
Asaki #17 Posted June 15, 2012 Very well coded... Maybe that's why they're called "CodeMasters"...
the.golden.ax #18 Posted June 15, 2012 Very well coded... Maybe that's why they're called "CodeMasters"... Ba rump bump bump I collect for Genny and have an Everdrive. They go hand in hand. Honestly if I had to pick just one system to own it would be hard to chose between the Neo Geo and the Genny. Ultimately the Genny would win because of the larger library. It is my favorite home console. This coming from someone utterly infatuated with games, and dozens of systems, everything mainstream and many underdogs. It's a heck of a system.
