Atari emulator for STbook?

I saw this today - are there 800 emulators for the ST?

There's at least one, it's slow and not real accurate and probably only good for running Basic programs.

 

Laptop STs are somewhat rare though, as the bids on that seem to indicate.

 

Personally I'd throw the funds at a Falcon, but at the $300+ they seem to go at are overpriced for what you're getting.

The 8-bit emulator for the ST is called XFormer. It is special because it got permissions from Atari to include the Atari OS rom images. But the ST is much too slow to emulate the 8-bit. Maybe if it works on a Falcon or TT it might achieve usable performance.
