Shephda #1 Posted June 18, 2012 Been working too much and too many projects going on at once. But at last my 128D setup is finished. Todays mail brought me the JiffyDOS ROMS for my second 1571 and the 1581, so now my 128D is loaded! Installed is the Megabit Internal ROM, the JiffyDOS kernal and JiffyDOS ROMs for all three drives! She's a rocking now!

Shephda #5 Posted June 20, 2012 Thanks Frank! I've been trying to get caught up on stuff and somehow this got put into the front of the list. Now i have another 128D to get working, two 1581's to prep for sell, sort through some Arati, Amiga, Ti-99 stuff to sell, then there's stuff around the house and my radio stuff. I need a clone or two.

Dave Farquhar #7 Posted June 21, 2012 Wow. That's an enviable setup indeed. I like it an awful, awful lot. I grew up using a 128, so I have a lot of pleasant memories of the machine.
Hatta #8 Posted June 21, 2012 Nice. Like the Wico bat peeking up from the foreground. I really need to get a 128D so I can stack my 1084 on top of it and clear up some desk space.
Gandor #9 Posted June 23, 2012 Installed is the Megabit Internal ROM Where did you get this from?

This is what I ran in the late 80's and then some! I work with modern computers and running the old Commodore is more fun today than it was back then. He makes these, if you own a 128 it's a must have! http://www.commodore128.org/index.php?topic=2645.

firesmile_01 #17 Posted March 3, 2013 Guys, anyone have a 128DCR or even just plain ole 128D they'd part with?
RickR #18 Posted March 3, 2013 Very cool. A Star NX-1000 printer helped me get through college (paired with an Atari 800XL). Ah memories.
