goldenegg
I know you can find Game Genie codes online, but I'd love to thumb through the original code books. I've searched online, but have come up empty handed. Anyone here happen to have scans of any Game Genie code books? I'm interested in any system, but have a specific interest in NES and Genesis. OldSchoolRetroGamer
Big Game Genie fan here also. Well, there was something on UNDERGROUND GAMER torrent site but you need to be a member and I have not had invites in ages so I have downloaded it myself, archived it using WinRar, I have cut n paste the original description including typos lol: Game Genie Codes[NES\Sega\SNES\Game Gear\Game Boy] I Found This on a corner of the web. It's Mostly in TXT format. While a few of them are HTML format. The only one that isn't in eather format is the SEGA one. It is a EXE program that alowes you to save the codes as a .pat file to use with your emluater. pretty neat huh? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have uploaded it to SENDSPACE and here is the download link. I hope this is of some use to you! http://www.sendspace.com/file/8wf6ej Edited June 26, 2012 by OldSchoolRetroGamer
goldenegg
Thanks for that. I'm also a member of UG and have that torrent. It's strange how no one seems to have scans of the original code books. The closest I've found are scans of the NES supplement books. http://www.nesworld.com/genie.php Those are pretty cool to have, but I'd love to have the books that came with the carts. There's a chance I might still have the book from the Genesis GG I bought years ago, but it would be at my parents' place so I'll have to wait to look when I'm there next. EDIT: It's actually this site with the supplement scans: http://www.angelfire.com/nc/ugetab/Galoob_Codebooks.html

BILLYonaire
Thanks but I'm looking for scans of the actual codebooks and or updates. I found some SNES scans and that reddit to which you linked while googling but that's all.
