GodzillaIsMyCopilot #4 Posted August 4, 2012 I'll be grabbing a NES modified one of these days. Curious: Can you extend the cord of the controller while you are at it?
the.golden.ax #5 Posted August 5, 2012 I'll be grabbing a NES modified one of these days. Curious: Can you extend the cord of the controller while you are at it? Someone is making new (retro bit I think) 9 foot extensions these days. One could either buy a few of those, or I can order up a few and offer it as an extra. One could either buy a few of those, or I can order up a few and offer it as an extra. I have a couple of those. I was going to send you an old NES controller, hoping it could be a twofer: Mod it for Atari use, and extend the cord, etc. blah.
RGB_Gamer #7 Posted August 5, 2012 I know this may be a bit off topic, but while we are on the subject of extension cables, could an extension cable for a Famicom Disk System RAM cable be made?

RedRaider #9 Posted August 5, 2012 Ax, Do you offer the 7800 modded NES Joystick painted with custom vinyl decals?
the.golden.ax #10 Posted August 5, 2012 Ax, Do you offer the 7800 modded NES Joystick painted with custom vinyl decals? Yes, when the dye is on hand. Right now I don't have any dye available to use for customs, but should by the end of the year.
RedRaider #11 Posted August 5, 2012 Do you use Vinyl Dye in a spray can? I am about to order some to play around with. Would you consider allowing me to fund your dye purchase, if I decide to procure several of your modded controllers? Hit me up via PM, if you'd like to not discuss this on your FS thread.
CPUWIZ #12 Posted August 5, 2012 Ax, this time I am not teasing you, how do you come up with those weird prices? Do you figure PayPal fees into them or what? Maybe I should buy a couple and stick them in a box in the garage.
the.golden.ax #13 Posted August 6, 2012 Yep, the prices factor other fees (postage namely) flat rate envelopes are $4.90 and medium boxes are $10.85.

0078265317 #18 Posted January 23, 2013 Sounds cool but I'm already using nes controllers on my 2600 and 5200. But 7800 and 2600 have same ports right? So if I ever get a 7800 I can use the same setup right?

I'm still mega interested in the other project we discussed, but in the meantime I could use another of your super mega awesome nes pads. Hope you're doing alright Ax!
