sometimes99er
You know, I like these hacked games, it might even give me a chance to see parts of games I've never seen before -or- play a game with improved graphics. Over the past few years there was the a hacked Parsec and an improved Car Wars both those games would make great additions to the FlashROM 99 repository under the new heading for hacked games. I wonder what else is out there that could be included? Excellent. Yes, I think I could make a steady flow of hacks for the FlashROM99.

+arcadeshopper
Thanks for feedback. Sorry, I think I forgot about inverted and non-inverted. Will check and correct soon. I don't get it. It's non-inverted (as it should be with FlashROM99) and works fine with Classic99. I only have emulation, so I'm kinda of stuck. It's a grom game no? You can't load the grom games into vdp ram, only 32k expansion ram.. Greg
sometimes99er
It's a grom game no? You can't load the grom games into vdp ram, only 32k expansion ram.. Greg I took the Invaders.BIN from FlashROM 99 - Image Repository. It must be based on the disk version as SHIFT-8-3-8 works (and it has "Made with Classic99" as filler). And then I replaced a branch with 2 nop's using a hex editor. I found the code and location looking at the disk version source. Maybe 00WReX didn't have a 32K RAM Expansion attached ? +arcadeshopper
he said he was trying it on a stock console Invaders.BIN 16KB 45 downloads (requires 32K expansion) Greg
sometimes99er
he said he was trying it on a stock console Invaders.BIN 16KB 45 downloads (requires 32K expansion) Greg Oh yes, so he did. Okay, then that's probably the reason. Sorry about the confusion.
00WReX
Yes, sorry. In my excitement I made the assumption that the hack allowed it to run on a standard TI with the FlashROM. Cheers, Shane

This way your hacked version will be even more interesting for gamers. Was this a hack, or an original version?

I think the original disk version had the 838 cheat. The original cartridge version did not have the 838 cheat, though some people have reported seeing some cartridges with the 838 cheat.
