Help with ID Rarity of Superman Game

Awesome find!! There's only a dozen or so of those that have surfaced over the years.

 

Already a dozen? Is it no longer a 10?

 

Since when did a dozen copies preclude a game from being an R10? There are about 20 or so Video Lifes and a dozen or so Air Raids and they are still considered an R10 on AA. If you are referring to Atarimaina, then this is no longer an R10 or HG as Romhunter refers to them as. The one that sold for $700 was Sly's copy that went to Crunchysuperman about 6 years ago. Since then there have been a few copies that have surfaced that I am aware of and I am certain other have sold that I was not aware of. I think Wonder007 bought one for around $500 and I remember seeing one sell in the $400s, and there have been a few others too. I would say current value is between $500 and $700

12 of a game is still an R10 if you compare to other R10's (pretty much what Dino just said) You would have to re-do the entire system to consider it a R9 (same with video life, magicard, music machine, atlantis 2, etc..) The only reason I don't think it is an R10 is because it was made by Sears and you KNOW they did a full production, they have to be somewhere...unless they were recycled or scrapped/etc.. I just don't see how Sears would only make 10 or so of a label, doesn't seem practical Same with NTSC BMX airmaster, those are somewhere....

Ah, well, I was joking. Plus I know there are some hardcore people when the rarity scale is concerned.
