NIAD #10 Posted July 21, 2012 It was great to see J-F and Toby's CollectorVision presentation as well as to see both of them live instead of just PM'ing and email'ing. Looking forward to hearing further word of the 30th Anniversary Secret Project: limited edition release of StarCom! I have to send my congrats out to ADAMcon (Bob Slopsema) for finally acquiring the Coleco External Dual 3 1/4" Floppy Disk Drive Prototype from Doug Rosenvinge. I tried in vein back in '92/'93 and even was on the ADAM Chat last year when Doug showed up, but he still stated as in the past that he would never let it go.... Bob must have made him an offer he couldn't refuse. At least the unit is slowly working it's way from the east coast to the midwest. Now to locate the internal version of the 3 1/4" Drive that takes the place of the Digital Data Drive and plugs into the same 8 and 9 pin connectors. Anyone? +5-11under #11 Posted July 21, 2012 I figured out a way that I can afford to go to ADAMCon next year. I'll bring my wife, and she can cut everyone's hair.

NIAD #20 Posted July 21, 2012 If I heard correctly and recall from playing the game on another system/arcade... it is Bosconian. Only 30 copies of Starcom will be made so it's gonna rough getting a copy, but at least J-F mentioned that a version of Bosconian will be made later.
retroillucid #21 Posted July 21, 2012 Back from the ADAMCon I was very happy to see all Adamites! REALLY, A BUNCH OF AWESOME PEOPLE! THANKS TO ALL OF US! Very friendly community! To be honest, there's 1% chance that we release Bosconian Seriously, we wanted a project dedicated specially for the 30th Anniversary of CV and also the 80th Anniversary of Coleco Industries So we take a liscence from Coleco (StarCom) and take a popular Arcade game and merge them into one game
hardhat #24 Posted July 22, 2012 (edited) It was really great to finally meet you in person retroillucid. I was just sorry that I didn't get to spend more time with you this year. Both you and Coleco_Master were great to talk to! And we didn't get to do the Rocky tournament before you left either. And I can't believe how generous you were to donate a Arcade Joystick for a prize. I hope I win. I wanted one but couldn't buy it when you did the preorder.
