WolfAmongWolves
I would guess "It ain't over 'til it's over" is a Yogi Berra quote. It takes two players to play. Not sure about the third clue... Good one, I didn't know about the Yogi Berra quote. There's a Starship song of the same name, so I was going through all the space-themed games to see if any of them fit the other two clues. I thought about two players as well, but the clue is "It takes too", not "It takes two". Unless it's a misspelling, I interpreted it as having something to do with giving and taking. At the moment I'm still stumped.
+McCallister
Not Karate and not Super Challenge Baseball. Here's some more clues about the previous clues: 1. Till it's over, till it's over, is it over? I guess I'll just turn it off? 2. Your write about to players, butt its in the title, two. 3. I know you have to line dance, but must you every time? Christophero Sly
Double Dunk?
+Nathan Strum
1. Some game involving digging. 2. Has a misspelled title. 3. Some character in the game dances - frequently enough to be annoying. This really seems familiar... but I just can't place it. Thought it might be Gopher, but it only fits the first clue.
+McCallister
Not double dunk and not gopher. I think my clues might be too much in my own way of thinking; kudos to all the folks who come up with crossword puzzle clues! Anyway, here is some clarification: 1. The game has no actual end, you just play until you decide to shut it off. 2. It is two player only and the title is not misspelled, but contains a homophone. 3. Dance may be a subjective term, but it does happen regularly.
+thegoldenband
Artillery Duel?
+McCallister
Artillery Duel? You are correct! Duel and Dual are homophones, Dual being the two that's in the title. Hopefully the clues make sense now and weren't too obtuse.

Hopefully the clues make sense now and weren't too obtuse. Funny thing is, I thought that right away, but doubted myself for some reason. I remember playing AD around 1985/1986 and being totally delighted by the "cutscenes", especially the one where the soldier misses the turn and has to catch up with his compatriot. +thegoldenband
1. Chevy Corvair. 2. 33° 26' S, 67° 56' E. 3. The hardest is the hardest.
Chuck D. Head
I have been bashing my head on this one for a few hours, to the detriment of my work duties. I will just guess, so I can get back to work: Crash Dive?
+thegoldenband
Oh, jeez, don't let my silly clues ruin your professional life! But no, not Crash Dive.
Chuck D. Head
Death Trap? 1. - Corvair was a death trap 2. - These coordinates seem to be in the Indian Ocean with no names for the topography that ties into anything, so ??? 3. - Diamond is the hardest difficulty
+thegoldenband
You've got it! #1 and #3 are exactly right. As for #2, that location in the middle of nowhere is the antipode of Phoenix, AZ -- that is, the opposite point on the earth. And the gameplay in Death Trap is exactly the opposite of (the climactic stage of) Phoenix: instead of shooting to bring down a shield, your shots create one. Nicely done! Christophero Sly
Hey! I got the antipode bit being Phoenix. Even spent some time trying to figure out what the opposite of a Phoenix was. Couldn't come up with anything though. Still, I'm pleased to learn that I was on the right track. Actually, got the diamond bit too, just couldn't figure out which game it fit. Anyway, nicely done, Chuck.
+Nathan Strum
So all of those kids growing up in Phoenix trying to tunnel through the center of the Earth to China are in for a big disappointment. And probably drowning.

+Atari_Warlord
This thread seems to be dieing again. The numbers lead the way to the answer. One clue is fairly general and the other two refer to game graphics.

+Atari_Warlord
The numbers refer to a specific song on each album that is listed. The 3rd song on The Grand Illusion is Superstars. The 4th song on Crystal Ball is Crystal Ball. The 5th song on Styx is Quick is the Beat of My Heart.
Christophero Sly
Whoops. I had the wrong songs. I flip-flopped the albums for the 3rd and 5th tracks. Edited January 28, 2015 by Christophero Sly
