+Nathan Strum
I'll admit, the only reason I got it was because the word order for the first sentence "Hidden in plain sight is the answer" was a little weird. So I figured there had to be a specific reason for it. I didn't connect any of the other clues until Gateway posed the answers. I forgot all about HSW doing the other games. Or rather, I was thinking movies, not games. IMDB doesn't mention HSW anywhere. Edited September 5, 2012 by Nathan Strum
Gateway
Yeah, I had fun putting all the clues together to make them work out. I got a bit carried away and probably sent some of you on a wild goose chase, LOL! In my defense, it tied in with the theme of Easter Eggs being hidden while you are searching for the answers to the movie clues. Which brings up an interesting dillema.. @bomberpunk: Did you expect each new round to get more difficult to figure out? We started with Pitfall! which was easy to figure out-- and now we are up to page 25 with ever more and more brain teaser- type clues. Some of you guys have made my head spin with how complex the game has gotten! So, shall we continue with brain-teasers or would you guys rather go back to "easier" and shorter clues? bomberpunk
if the theme sticks with the first letter of each clue... then H is for the hero and TNT is for, well, TNT previous clues mention the likes of Harrison Ford, who was also the hero of some films. so my guess is H.E.R.O. Yeah, I had fun putting all the clues together to make them work out. Actually, clue 4 might mean that it doesn't start with this (movie), so I'll say The Empire Strikes Back.
+Nathan Strum
Not Megamania, Star Wars: The Arcade Game, Extra Terrestrials, or The Empire Strikes Back. Not bad guesses though. You're on the right track about TIE Fighters. Except you're not, because they aren't. One of the clues refers to the game, box and manual. One of the clues refers to the box and the manual. One of the clues only refers to the manual. One of the clues only refers to other clues. Edited September 6, 2012 by Nathan Strum

+Atari_Warlord
The Challenge of Nexar has some Tie Fighter looking ships and the manual mentions some warning about only experienced players should play. Also the 4th clue probably refers to the first sentence in the previous post that mentioned the word challenge.

Also the 4th clue probably refers to the first sentence in the previous post that mentioned the word challenge. Waggie is the winner! It was The Challenge of... Nexar. Twin Ion Engine, by any other name. A TIE Fighter by any other name... in this case, an "Impact Exploding Saucer". Seen in the game, manual and back of the box. Hubble not particularly helpful. The manual and box both state, "BEYOND GALAXIES KNOWN TO MAN". Nobody pays attention to those disclaimers anyway. The manual states, "The challenge of NEXAR should only be attempted by experienced player of at least cadet level or higher. Spectravision will not be held responsible for those who do not return. Do not attempt "NEXAR" if you have high blood pressure or dislike video games." The clues don't actually begin in this post. +Atari_Warlord
Lentzquest is correct. 1. I must have hit my head to see this many copies. refers to the box art 2. Trademark CBS. The first paragraph in the manual mentions the trademark, also I just noticed it was on the box so this clue was probably to easy. 3. Sometimes pillow talk can end badly. A reference to the Shakespeare play of the same name where Othello thinks his wife is cheating on him and smothers her with a pillow.

Fixitguy74
Journey Escape 1. It is the only 2600 game that involves a rock band, so of course it's the best of its kind. 2. Not sure on this one, but maybe something to do with the white bus / spaceship you try to reach with each band member 3. Um...they're a band and they are still playing (with varios new members), so they are a band forever (banned forever) I know its a strech but I've got nothing lose
