Nintendo Penguin
Maybe this is old news to some people... but I just found out about the new Ninja Turtles Game being released by Konami. Any thoughts?
ubersaurus
The new series has no Rocksteady and Bebop....how good can the game be if its based on that?
Punisher5.0
If the game is 2D then that would be awesome. If it's 3D then I'll pass.
MegaManFan
Honestly I shouldn't be one to talk since I bought a sealed box of TMNT trading cards at the Toy Liquidators for $2.49... but does anybody even care about DA TOITLES any more? Mustangarrett
Regardless I will buy the game just to show my loyalty to the TMNT. Leonardo is the best…after Spiderman… TMNT is the best cartoon in my book. This statement was made not including The Simpsons as a cartoon… that show is in a league of its own. Leonardo is the best…after Spiderman… TMNT is the best cartoon in my book. I've seen some argue it would have been better off if it had stayed a comic and never become a cartoon or movie (especially with that regrettable "Ninja Rap" by Suck Suck Baby). Punisher5.0
I thought the TMNT movies were very cool. I used to watch the cartoons when I was a little kid and I still would if I had any of them on tape. The games for NES and SNES were really fun especially two player. I used to watch the cartoons when I was a little kid and I still would if I had any of them on tape. The games for NES and SNES were really fun especially two player. I liked the cartoon. I loved the games - both the home versions and TMNT: The Arcade Game in particular (I liked The Simpsons in the arcade because it was based on the same engine). I just don't see or hear much about the Turtles any more, and I hate to say it but I think that one bad live action movie after another just killed off the buzz; then Pokemon stole it's thunder, then it just fizzled into obscurity. Nintendo Penguin
I heard a new cartoon show was starting-up in February on FOX.... anyone know if this is true?
SwedenLynxer
To bad if the game is based on this new series It was the same with that game TDK released for GBA a while ago - He-Man Masters Of Universe, it was based on some new crap. Happy_Dude
TMNT Rules I'll be buying this game when it's released @MMF, The movie's suffered from "BATMAN" syndrome The first one was Awsome but then it just went downhill from there. The lack of Dimension X and the TechnoDrome really sucked too.
chrisbid
with the exception of the first NES game, the series was excellent. The arcade game was the epitome of the pre-street fighter II beat-em-up.

Argh. My sister told me the Turtles were back on T.V in the mornings and I was really exited. So I got up early and watched it. Turned out it was some new live actron show (like the movie) aimed at retarded 4 year olds Man was I pissed
ubersaurus
You mean that show that was on a few years ago? This is an all new cartoon, the new series...
MacGurl
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles..Hero's in a half shell, TURTLE POWER! I am so excited to hear this, I love the TMNT! I used to watch the cartoons faithfully, I hope they come out with some new ones. I even liked the old crappy NES games.

Happy_Dude
A new cartoon series? COWABUNGA!!!!! I'll be all over it like white on rice The only game I ever had was the C64 game. I think it came on 5 to 10 disks but they got corrupted somehow and where thrown out
Bratwurst
While I'll admit the source material was much cooler than the cartoons, if it weren't for the popularity inspired by the dumbed down animated series then we wouldn't have had those great video games. From what I gather Konami is at least going to do a Gameboy Advance version. I'm going to wait and see if it's anything like the NES/SNES beat-em ups that preceded it. If it is, then I'll buy it. onklsven75
I hope it's kind of like the original arcade version. Speaking of that, I think it's time for a remake of the Simpson's arcade game. Nothing like a punch and jump combination game. Then again, they could make it like the first NES turtles game, and no one will ever be able to get past the 3rd level. Damn it!!! z28in82
Well I'll be watchin the cartoon just to see how good it may or maynot be. As for the game does anyone know on which platforms will it be released? And MMF don't sweat it I still series one and series two of the TMNT trading cards in protective selves. Along with the cards from the first movie.
Vic George 2K3
2D or 3D, I'd sure want to see a new TMNT game. Perhaps even one that combines the questing aspect of the first NES game with the action of the arcade version. (In some countries, they end up calling them the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles -- not that I see a problem in that!)

Nintendo Penguin
Well, Isure hope the new TMNT game isn't 3-D. It has been far to long since I last played a good 2-D game.... plus, I just don't see how a first-person Turtle game could work???
Nintendo Penguin
I just checked out the NinjaTurtles website on FOX. Seems kinda cool.... the new Shredder looks pretty bad-ass and april is looking VERY hot.... no more yellow jumpsuit.
