A fair but not great price. At least you'd get to test it first before buying.

Yeah, I was going to say--$450 isn't bad, but it's not HOLY CRAP-I-GOTTA-HOP-IN-THE-CAR-AND-START-DRIVING-TOWARDS-DENVER good either. Could be a great opportunity for a CO native with some cash to burn who's looking to get a great start on a Vectrex collection, though.

Does the original Vectrex have a door / cover where the controller ports / volume etc were located? There is one I am looking at but seems like that piece may be missing? If so is it easy to get?

The front is where the controller (for player 1) is stored. It rotates down and then kind of slides off its little posts. Behind that are the ports, power, and reset. If you are looking at one and you can see all that stuff, then the controller is missing.

Ok the controller is in the pic......but the front of the system looks like it is missing the Vectrex front I see in pics on google......I am assuming that is actually the controller then (aka the vectrex logo) is on the bottom of the controller? As of this picture I have from the seller....I see the controller but the unit looks different from the pics on google as I can see the volume / controller plug ports....
