HatefulGravey #1 Posted August 7, 2012 I would like to have the translated version of Sweet Home and Super Mario Bros. 2j put on NES carts. I have seen sites that do this but they don't seem very up to date and I know people here can do this. i have donor carts if you need them. I may want more games later but these two are pretty high on the list of games I would like to have on actual NES carts. If no one around can do these two or don't have time any suggestions on good places to order from would help as well. Most places want a month to get these done, which is ok if I know the people I'm giving money to are on the level.
+Trebor #2 Posted August 7, 2012 Recevied my copy of Super Mario Bros. 2j here (along with DK Pie Factory): http://www.retrousb.com/index.php?cPath=29&osCsid=f20ebb50f1415918475d6ed23c9bb705 I also own both the PowerPak and SNES PowerPak: http://www.retrousb.com/index.php?cPath=24 Everything shipped fast and works great in both my Original (Toaster) NES and Top Loader. Lentzquest #3 Posted August 7, 2012 (edited) +1 for retrousb. I got my perv-tastic Pirate Booty cart from them. Fast shipping and top-notch quality. Edited August 7, 2012 by Lentzquest
HatefulGravey #4 Posted August 7, 2012 If they just had Sweet Home... I would love to, and more then likely will soon, get that Donkey kong Pie Factory deal. Some of the prices there are a bit higher than other places, but it looks like the games are ready to ship right now instead of waiting a month to get it made for you. Am I wrong there? I feel certain I'll order SMB2j and DK:PF from there this weekend (or when my bank gets my account back right, its a long story) and hunt down Sweet Home elsewhere. Thanks for the recommendation. I do with flash carts were cheaper because I would have already ordered that thing if I could justify the cost.
+Gemintronic #5 Posted August 7, 2012 (edited) See, the OP was asking for a service that will put HIS binary on their cart. RetroUSB sells a select set of homebrew and repros. www.gamereproductions.com goes a little bit further and does offer to burn some chips for you. HatefulGravey #6 Posted August 7, 2012 I sent a message to make sure they had the things needed to make a copy of Sweet Home for me per the FAQ on the site. He is hoping and thanks for the information Mr Loon.
Blue Ember #7 Posted August 9, 2012 I bought mine from Timewalk Games and it's freakin beautiful, takes a little while (about 4 weeks) but well worth the wait for his amazing work. You get a custom box, instructions, map and custom painted blood red cart that is absolutely stunning, I highly recommend getting sweet home from there if your planning on getting it, you won't regret it. He also has tons of other amazing stuff and I have yet to hear a complaint about his work.
HatefulGravey #8 Posted August 10, 2012 I looked on that site, it said they were out of stock and I wasn't sure if that just meant they didn't have any made or that they weren't making anymore. The site didn't seem to say if they would make more or not. The message I sent to the other guy has gone un-answered so far. I'll find a way to message your guy too and see whats up with him. EDIT: That didn't take long, as soon as I go to the site now there is a notice that they aren't taking orders right now.
+Gemintronic #9 Posted August 10, 2012 These repro stores are actually just one man shows. All the ones with storefronts have great quality but get backlogged easily. Some just shut down ordering until they get caught up.
