OutlawTorn71 #9 Posted August 16, 2012 ;) Dude, I gotta ask, where did Land Battle and Takeover come from ?
Alex.Pace #10 Posted August 16, 2012 Land Battle and Takeover manuals were made by a guy (I cannot remember the name now) in an extremely limited edition (I think about 10 pieces). They are very well done (also print is of high quality) and inspired to the instruction files you find in Intellivision Live Cd. Overlyas were produced by Roger Matthews in Orphan Overlays. Games For Your Intellivision #11 Posted August 17, 2012 If one was to theoretically produce cart versions of Land Battle and/or Takeover......would a single cart or separate cart be preferable? Would either of these titles be desired? I personally, always wanted Land Battle......I think they were deemed too strategic and not fun enough by Mattel. However, I think the people playing Intellivision still might be interested.

I haven't played the ROMs yet
voltron #13 Posted August 17, 2012 another intv neophyte question. I know rom means read only memory, but what do you mean by rom here? That is i see the term a lot on AA. Do you mean the game is avaialble as code and you have to put in on a cartridge yourself, or it has to be played on a pc? Or am im completly lost here? Intymike #14 Posted August 17, 2012 With a rom file you can play it in an emulator on PC or you use the Intellicart or CuttleCart to play it on the real thing.

Intymike #16 Posted August 17, 2012 Take a look on intellivisionlives.com. They selling 2 CDs with roms (Intellivision Lives & Intellivision Rocks).
voltron #17 Posted August 17, 2012 Take a look on intellivisionlives.com. They selling 2 CDs with roms (Intellivision Lives & Intellivision Rocks). I emailed intellivisionlives.com yesterday bc I had ordered three items fromthem both cds and a poster. The package arrived but it only had one cd. So hopefully they either mailed it out seperately or forgot and will correct it.

JasonlikesINTV #23 Posted December 11, 2012 Featured on GameGavel's Insane Collections feature: http://www.gamegavel...ections-rick-r/ The thing I was most impressed about with Rick's collection was the nice condition of all of his boxes. I also thought it was funny he laid all of them out on the floor Seeing the fronts of the boxes is a collection pic you don't normally see though. +thegoldenband #24 Posted December 11, 2012 I guess I'm in the minority, but I personally would prefer a one-cart release for Takeover and Land Battle. That saves money, saves space, and the only thing you'd need to add is a title screen menu and an extra set of overlays. (And that's assuming that they're both complete(d) and feel like a total package; if one of them is at all incomplete, then they should definitely be on one cart.) Voltron knows much, much more about Intellivision than me. Maybe that's why I find this funny. Don't you use emulators for Intellivision, Voltron? I'm curious to know what you think about emulators.
