MegaManFan
Of the carts I actually own, I flip back and forth between Wizard of Wor, Zone Ranger, Super Pac-Man, and Joust. Of the ones I don't have actual carts for Meteorites is probably the best.
NE146
Definitely Joust. I've gone over it a number of times here.. but I just like the physics of the 5200 best (probably because I've played it the most). I like the "rubber band" ceiling and the higher "flap to flight" ratio you seem to get. Great version of a great game
Nukey Shay
Since I don't have a 5200... and 5200 = 8-bit... Star Raiders How did he do such fantastic stunts? With such little feet??
sku_u
1. Frogger II: Threeedeep! 2. Centipede (with the trak-ball) 3. Pengo 4. Frogger 5. Bounty Bob Strikes Back 6. Berzerk 7. Gremlins 8. Beamrider 9. Moon Patrol 10. Space Invaders Honorable mentions go to Koffi: Yellow Kopter, Qix, Meteorites and Xari Arena
oesii
Ballblazer, it's my favorite version, it plays faster than the 7800 version and just feels better. My current favorite is Pitfall II, fun to get past the 1st world and then the bonus level is great.

Dutchman2000
Right now I would have to say RealSports Baseball.
Tempest
Xari Arena Tempest
dougy76
My favorite would be Pitfall II. The bonus world is just too cool. Other games that are worthy of recognition: HERO Bounty Bob Strikes Back Missile Command (w/ trakball of course ) Kaboom Space Dungeon Wizard of Wor Frogger/FroggerII (I think playing with the keypad is awesome)
t.skid
I don't have many games for the 5200 (yet ), so I could say: Joust!
NE146
Tempest WOULD have been my favorite game.. but it simply can't as it was never released.. and when it was, it wasn't complete :(

+Allan
My favorites: 1. Realsports Baseball 2. Miner 3. Rescue on Fractalus 4. Millipede 5. Asteroids (yes, you read right!) 6. Joust 7. Star Raiders 8. Super Pacman 9. Koffi 10. Mario Brothers. I play my 5200 much more than my 7800. I just think the games play better on it. The graphics may not me as good but the plays the thing. Plus I think the 5200 joysticks are much better than the 7800 ones. Allan
Brian R.
If it can be said my favorite game would be the game I play the most, then it's Pac-Man hands-down. Of the Atari consoles, it's simply the best version there is. I also play Pengo a lot. Unique game. Never played it in the arcades or on anything else. I like Space Invaders, too. The changes make it more interesting to play than the original.
Gabriel
It's a toss up between Star Raiders and Star Trek for me. Honorable mentions go to Qix, Countermeasure, and Pole Position.

oesii
hands down winner: Space Dungeon good call, I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned more. My third favorite game on the 5200 and a system exclusive to boot
MegaManFan
Oh God yeah, the 5200 version is the best version IMHO. You guys are only frustrating me more than the one chance I had to get a copy of it for cheap, it turned out to be a dead cart. (And yes I even tried the rubbing it with a rubber pencil head method, I was that desperate.)
Atariman
I dunno. I always liked Popeye, myself. Levels that you could eventually master, the swearing that is heard by the player who, by "fault of the controller", missed a flying object with that last punch, etc. I thought the sound wasn't too bad on it and popeye was actually TWO COLORS (instead of green on the 2600 version) But I don't have an especially large library of 5200 games as it is.
