If not, Id like to have your permission to upload it and write a short review of the game in my humble blog: http://atariteca.blogspot,com - Y -

Mathy
Hello XXL Are you entering this in the ABBUC Software Contest 2012? Mathy
xxl
who has the rights to this game? This is a conversion, that type of games may not take part in the ABBUC Contest
Rybags
But is it a conversion as in taking source code and converting, or taking the game concept and programming from scratch?
Mathy
Hello XXL For the exact rules of what is permissible and what is not, please ask skr in the ABBUC Software Contest 2012 thread. Edit: But be quick, as all software for the contest has to be admitted no later then the 31th of August. That's one week from now. +skr
who has the rights to this game? This is a conversion, that type of games may not take part in the ABBUC Contest Why not? As long as it is not a conversion of an existing Atari 8 bit game, I won´t refuse it: The ABBUC software division immediately disqualifies software, which are recognized to be a plagiarism of existing or commercial Atari 8-bit software. Otherwise a lot of games would have had to be refused the last years. Not only on the Atari it would be quite a challenge to develop really new game ideas every year, wouldn´t it? TMR
The original of MazezaM is the Spectrum version from 2002 by Malcolm Tyrrell - there's an entry in the World of Spectrum database for it and an email address in the docs which might still work if anyone fancies getting a thumbs up. Tezz
.... I plan to start work on a new Atari 8-bit game, so I'll probably become a regular visitor to the forums. That's great to hear. We need more A8 game developers
Mathy
And we need more contestants for the ABBUC Software Contest. This years deadline is next friday, but if everything goes according to plan, there should be a contest every year. Mathy
Bunsen
Mathy, 5 contributions 4 days before the deadline. That is many! In the last years most contributions came on the last day. So I expect 8 to 10 entries this year.
Mathy
Hello Gunnar Yes, but we can always use more contestants. Malcohol is probably not gonna make next fridays deadline, , but his software is welcome in 2013, 2014, 2015, etc. That's what I wanted to say. Mathy
Hello Sascha I am still waiting for Mathys "Great European Cross Country Radar Race"... That should read "Mathy's Great European Cross Country Radar Race". And I only do the real live game, somebody else will have to do the coding. Mathy PS this game has cost me more then enough money!
