i'm only slightly less excited about this since i just bought a VecMulti a couple of months ago. but this is still awesome.

The only thing that generally bothers me with iOS games are the controls. I like to feel buttons, you know :-)

There is supposed to be an IAP for ICade support. This may sound like a bad idea but if I read a twitter post correctly, the app itself is going to be free.

Y'all realise Apple has a bug up their bum about emulators. Especially ones that allow you to add additional games. Expect this to be really hobbled or get rejected at some point.

This will be released and it will not be pulled. There are many similar emulators already on the App Store.

 

A common misconception is that Mame4All was pulled from the store due to the fact you could load ROMs. That's actually not true. Members of the Mame Dev team complained and had the release pulled, as they don't feel older builds properly reflect their work. The author also did not make his source available, which is a requirement for apps linking to the Mame source.
