Star Trek or Star Wars.

Recommended Posts

As a youth, without a doubt Star Wars. I remember watching it in the Theater, quickly became a life-long fan of the Franchise. My only hang up is Episode 1, still think it was garbage.

In college I really got into TNG. Imho, this series was by the best of the Franchise! Only other Star Trek series I've watched every episode of is Voyager, really liked it as well.

I have been in the Intellivision Camp for about 32 years now, heck I just recently bought my first two Atari consoles.

So I guess this is where I fall:

Star Wars - Intellivision

You start a lot of threads Voltron, this might be one of your best!

I used to love Spaceballs, but for me, I don't think the humor has aged well.

Greetings Starfighter, you have been recruited ...

I agree, that was a fun movie. When I was a kid, the idea that a video game was training for the real thing ... oh yeah. I'm there.

Star Wars for me, and obviously Inty. Being married to a Star Wars fan helps. Though she doesn't see one thing that I do: she hates Clone Wars, I hated the prequels. She was born in 1987 I was born in 1977.

It has to do with "new" Star wars "screwing up" the canon you're familiar with in your youth. Once I accepted it was just a possessive thing, I started to enjoy Clone Wars. She still doesn't. I now enjoy the prequels more, especially Revenge of the Sith. I still think Episode One is dogshit, though.

Imma screw you all up: Star Wars: The Arcade Game on ColecoVIsion (although that has come out for Atari, I've never played it)!

The real reason I popped my head in was to tell you all that The Last Starfighter rules! If you haven't get your hands on the Blu Ray - it's two discs: BR/DVD combo, with all the features on each disc. It's like, $8, and well worth it - great transfer, great features.

The NES game, The Last Starfighter, however, was awful.
