Frankie
I already have a precision socket for my Antic chip. I have the XL adapter. If I try and place the board in the machine there is this thing in the way. It won't let the board lay flat. It's a capciter that sticks straight up. C24 How do I get around this? Rybags
I replaced that capacitor with an identical type, leaving more of the legs sticking out, then just layed it flat to give the VBXE some more room. You probably won't be able to get the VBXE perfectly level relative to the mainboard but close enough is good enough. I also put a piece of plastic under mine to ensure it's insulated from anything underneath.
