Atari Video Cube

I seem to never get tired of playing this simple puzzle game. I have this on my iphone and play this all the time! The other day I found a copy at the old video game store for $20!!!! Whoo hoo!!!! I think that is a good price for my second rarity 7.

 

Am I weird to like such a simple game?

It's actually a bit different in game play than a real Rubik's Cube. It's actually closer to the "peel the stickers off" method of solving the cube.

I always perfered to turn one segment halfway and pry up the middle cubelet and disassemble the whole thing

Yep, I did that too. My sister would always peel the stickers off and they never quite go on right after that.

AVC is fun, but only if you spend some time with it and get into the groove (like Qbert's Qubes). To just pick up and play for a few minutes is frustrating.

I've always liked Video Game Cube. I was impressed by the cube rotations. I still am, they look very fluid.

Exactly. I actually had this back in the day, but today, it's never a game I reach out for when I want a 2600 fix.

Wow, never had any desire to play this game for more than 15 seconds before decalring it "boring and stupid" Just finished a round. 1200 moves to finish the cube but eh, first time. It's a fun little puzzle game time waster. Nice to find a "new" game to like after 30 years.

if you have a good memory, the intro gives away the solution with the least amount of moves to complete.
