Chip Tune + Nine Inch Nails = Awesome

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure how many NIN fans we have here but I thought I would make people aware.

Some guy did an amazing job covering the Pretty Hate Machine album. He used one chipset from an individual retro console for each song.

Song and chipset used_____

Atarible Lie A8

Downloadin' It NES

Synctified SCC+

Something You Didn't Ever Have SMS

Ok, I have to say that this is absolutely amazing. I have only heard a couple of the songs ont hat particular album, so I had to look a couple up, but I have to admit that putting together a one to one album that sounds as good as this one does using vintage hardware is pretty amazing.

If I'm not mistaken, he posts here as InversePhase. And yes, the album is absolutely amazing!

Indubitably on the name, not sure his posting here, though. As a NIN fanatic, this is an amazing disc, and people should pick it up from his bandcamp:

He posts here. ;)

But seriously, thanks for all the kind words, everyone. There will be more Atari (and other) music coming soon, I'm currently contracted to write some game soundtracks (also chiptunes) so that's my current priority. =]
