Robert M #1 Posted February 3, 2003 Okay, so my parents have been bugging me for about 2 years to come and look through a big pile of things at their house which they say is my old stuff. They want to make sure I get the things I like before they throw it all away. I have been blowing them off about it until yesterday. Lo and behold! I find - A coleco gemini VCS console - An Atari 7800 power supply (I almost bought one recently) - Several game manuals, and catalogs in various states of wear. In short, a suprising Atari related find. So today's lesson is to honor your father and mother when they tell you they have old crap of yours that they think you might still want. Or, barring that, offer to clean their attic for them. You never know what you might find.
Room 34 #2 Posted February 4, 2003 The question this begs is... how many siblings do you have that this would be in your parents' house and you wouldn't know about it
Robert M #3 Posted February 4, 2003 The question this begs is... how many siblings do you have that this would be in your parents' house and you wouldn't know about it I have 4 siblings. None of us have lived with our parents in over 10 years. I had assumed that any Atari related stuff was landfill fodder long ago. I found lots of good non-atari stuff too. My parents seem to be quite the set of packrats.
