Epx998 #1 Posted September 24, 2012 Is there one out there? I have one for the NES, it is a bit laggy, but it works. Wouldn't mind one for the Atari and use in the emulators.
Necron99 #2 Posted September 24, 2012 (edited) there's the Stelladapter. I don't know if it's compatible with windows 7 though. and it's not so easy to find. nevermind, looks like it does work in Win764 http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/162947-stelladaptor-work-with-windows-7-64-bit/ Edited September 24, 2012 by Necron99
+wood_jl #3 Posted September 24, 2012 (edited) These are getting hard to find! They used to be sold several places. They were created by Legacy Engineering (Curt Vendel), and I got mine from his online store, which is sold out..... http://www.legacyeng...com/storefront/ Thinkgeek doesn't have them anymore, either. What's left is nearly double the price, and is a clear plastic with an LED inside. I don't know who made those, or if they were sanctioned from Legacy, or if they're just Chinese knockoffs. There's an Ebay listing and Amazon. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 280901728803 http://www.amazon.co...c/dp/B004FW4HTY At that price, a Stelladaptor would be worth it. Trouble is, the Stelladapter isn't made anymore. They used to be available here through the Atariage online store. You can still see what they looked like here: http://www.stelladaptor.com/ There's a newer, much-similar "2600-daptor" that I think is supposedly better, but I've never used either. I don't know if they're available, but they might be... http://home.comcast....2600-daptor.htm I'd rather buy one of those for increased functionality at a similar price. The best thing about the original USB joysticks is that they were reasonably-priced. I'm still thinking about the 2600-daptor, but I don't use emulation much, and I already have the USB joysticks. edit: 2600-daptor thread: http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/181321-announcing-new-2600-controller-usb-adaptor/ Edited September 24, 2012 by wood_jl
