Godzilla #6 Posted February 4, 2003 how about hangman :-) im sure that would have to be the old west where they hung people and stuff http://www.atariage.com/catalog_page.html?...¤tPage=18 though from that picture it seems to be more about some kind of kinky old-west kiddie bondage porn or something... Hangman, the original controversial 2600 game?

Hangman, the original controversial 2600 game? Hehe, at least it's closer to a Western game then front line I'm thinking of creating a little "history of western games" website, but so far probably only "Outlaw" and "Stampede" will make it for the 2600 Greetings, Manuel

Paul Slocum #9 Posted February 4, 2003 You should make "Western Games" to add to the Epyx series. -Paul
Cybergoth #10 Posted February 4, 2003 Hi Paul! You should make "Western Games" to add to the Epyx series. Some German Softwarehouse already did that 1987: http://s64.emuunlim.com/gameinfos/westerng...esterngames.htm Greetings, Manuel
Cybergoth #11 Posted February 4, 2003 Hi there! I'm thinking of creating a little "history of western games" website Cool news: Someone already provided me with the mother of all Outlaw reviews. This could be the start of a wonderfull new website featuring Western Games! Would someone like to help me creating that? For example would someone graphically blessed like to layout/create a western style frameset for a homepage? Or layouting articles? Any help appreciated! Yeeha! Greetings, Manuel

Cybergoth #14 Posted February 4, 2003 Hi there! Don't forget Chase the Chuckwagon... :-) Aaargh! No way! Oh and here's the Outlaw review, I'm just done with basic HTMLizing: http://home.arcor.de/cybergoth/western/outlaw.html (Really in desperate need of someone with layouting skills...) CPUWIZ #15 Posted February 4, 2003 Hi Paul! You should make "Western Games" to add to the Epyx series. Some German Softwarehouse already did that 1987: http://s64.emuunlim.com/gameinfos/westerng...esterngames.htm Greetings, Manuel Oh wow, I haven't seen that in ages, I remember Magic Bytes. I wrote a game for them for the Amiga. Thanks Manuel.
Rob Mitchell #16 Posted February 5, 2003 Oh and here's the Outlaw review That review is painful to read .. too much detail and too wordy .. and appoligizing for lacking in more powerful weapons? What's that about? With all due respect to the author, I suggest editing that down .. and getting to the point. Outlaw is a bad version of Bally's 1976 arcade masterpiece, Boot Hill. It is a standoff between two gunfighters weilding six-shooters to the end. Rob Mitchell, Atlanta, GA
Cybergoth #17 Posted February 5, 2003 Hi Rob! With all due respect to the author, I suggest editing that down .. and getting to the point. Outlaw is a bad version of Bally's 1976 arcade masterpiece, Boot Hill. It is a standoff between two gunfighters weilding six-shooters to the end. Now, editing it down to these two sentences is a bit too much I think  Seriously, would you like to help me editing and layouting it? I already made a bunch of screenshots yesterday, before I fell asleep Greetings, Manuel
