I play tested this on real hardware and it works better than the version I posted last night. In fact, the only time the score even wants to blink is when you lose a life sometimes. Even then, I wonder why it does this, but it's acceptable for me, and I hope it is for you, too. It will never blink if you use O2EM, since apparently it's different than real hardware. I think moving the move left code to the same bank as the move right code helped immensely.

Here is a complete game. Not the final version, though, as there are still things that need to be worked on. This is NOT an April Fool's Day joke, this is real.
