Videogamecollector123 #1 Posted September 29, 2012 Hey, found this at a yard sale. I don't have a 512K so I figured I'd just sell it. Can anyone tell me what it's worth? The box is a little worn but I think it comes with everything inside the box. IMGP2289 by Atari1977, on Flickr
Grig #2 Posted September 29, 2012 I would say probably about a few bucks. I saw a few ended auctions on ebay for $35 and $99 that didn't sell. Most of those early 90s PC games aren't worth much. I wouldn't pay more than $2 at a yard sale or thrift store for it and I would buy it to keep it, not to resell it because I wouldn't think I could get much for it. Well, that's my two cents/opinion. Someone else tell me if I'm wrong please.
Videogamecollector123 #3 Posted September 29, 2012 Well I payed 50 cents so it's no problem if I can't sell it.
Grig #4 Posted September 29, 2012 I like those PC boxed games, I would have bought it to keep. I have a small boxed PC game collection and Tetris would fit nicely. Good find, and 50 cents is a great deal!
CPUWIZ #5 Posted September 29, 2012 It's not a PC game.
icemanxp300 #6 Posted September 29, 2012 This thing is so cool. I found a nice sealed one on the bay while checking prices for $35 and said hell why not!!
Grig #7 Posted September 29, 2012 It's not a PC game. I was using PC to mean Personal Computer - not specifically IBM or Mac.
+save2600 #8 Posted September 30, 2012 Hmm... a $2-$3 game CIB tops. Congrats! ...and then $35 for one? Guess the 500+ collection of CIB Amiga games I have truly *is* going to be my retirement fund.
icemanxp300 #9 Posted September 30, 2012 $35 sealed not cib
Grig #10 Posted September 30, 2012 I'd love to find some IBM Atarisoft CIB games in the wild. I found Jungle Hunt a while back but that was it. I like the blue box. Finding sealed IBM/Mac games in the wild is near impossible, even at yard sales. I've found a few here and there but the number is under 10 in the last 10 years. Still, a good find for 50 cents! Videogamecollector123 #11 Posted September 30, 2012 Hmm... a $2-$3 game CIB tops. Congrats! Well it's still a 400% profit I guess I though 512K games were more expensive than they were, so I'm just gonna keep it.
AtariorDie #12 Posted September 30, 2012 I will double the $2 and offer $5!
