thechallengeofnexar #10 Posted October 18, 2012 (edited) I have a CIB Intellivision keyboard Synth with adapter/interface and CIB 9/10 melody Blaster. Does anyone know the value of these items? the keyboard is in box (8/10) complete and like new in plastic and the melody blaster is CIB and the box 9/10 contents are 9.5/10 so i guess like new. Sorry to ask on someone elses thread, i just noticed that a few people need the Melody Blaster CIB. I may able to trade but would need very rare Atari games as i'm guessing the keyboard and software are worth a few bucks, The keyboard is the Brown version and fully working - i'll attach some pics tomorrow. I think u.k - U.S postage on the 49 key Synth would be around $60 *the Melody Blaster would be $10 to post. Thanks Antony Edited October 18, 2012 by thechallengeofnexar

Thanks Antony The brown synth is harder to find in NTSC land so I'd say anywhere between $125-150 in a solid box and maybe $200 in a free for all auction. As for Melody Blaster, a nice CIB can fetch $75-100 usually.
thechallengeofnexar #12 Posted October 18, 2012 (edited) Hi, thanks cmart. I just found an old auction for the Melody Blaster CIB which sold for $77 so your bang on the money. I'm pleased with the values though : ) I paid £127 for the boxed synth, interface with a nice CIB Melody Blaster so almost exactly $200 so about right by the sounds of it or a decent price. so perhaps worth $275 top end to the right person for both items. I guess the Brown Synths were for the European market. I had never seen one before. I'm a big Atari 2600 collector but branching into Colecovision and Intellivision, if i find something interesting like these items. I might try and trade for a rare 9/10 2600 game of similar value, i guess this lot might be more fun than just having a rare Atari 2600 game to someone so my Melody Blaster should be PAL, usually NTSC games work on PAL systems but not the other way around so i need to find out if my Melody Blaster is PAL or NTSC. Thanks for your help, I had a similar figure in mind which was at least more than i paid for the lot, I just wanted to check with the experts. . Intymike #13 Posted October 18, 2012 There is only a NTSC version of melody blaster (works on PAL as well).
