Telstar Question

Recommended Posts

So I was a my great aunts house the other day and I opened the closet to see a telstar system. I have never played one of these. This thing is absolutely mint and still in the box. I don't think it has ever been used! The box is in perfect condition!

Are these worth anything? Can anyone direct me to a website with more information on these?

Thanks!

The triangle one was very cool. I was so jealous of this kid, I was forced to hang around with due to my parents, because he had one. He hated it but I thought that steering wheel was the coolest. That spoiled jerk eventually had a VCS, Intellivision, AND an O2. Man, I still hate that guy.

I just bought a Coleco "Telstar Alpha" pong game. $1.70.

Works fine. Has 4 'games". Tennis, Hockey, Handball, Jai Alai.

I love these really old RF devices, before the FCC started digging into them all about shielding and all that crap. This Telstar game has a crystal clear picture via RF. So what if all my neighbors can watch me play on their TV's too. :)

Runs off 6 'C' size batteries too.

It's kool. 8)
