Just curious. I'm using ProSystem as my emulator and I'm not getting this to work. (No idea why, unfortunately). Before we look at a cart for this, can someone make sure that this puppy plays on the 'real thing'?

Yes, check out the first two posts in this topic. That was actually the reason behind this topic, as the main effort for this rom hack is in the 7800 hacks forum.

 

 

edit: lol, looks like Trebor beat me to it... I started to respond, then switched to another tab to respond to a post made by Trebor in the hacks forum when I went there to grab a link. Trebor, I promise I'm not stalking you.

 

Anyway, it helps to read some previous posts in a topic, especially the first one or two. It gives context to the topic and often provides answers.

Right, and that was answered in the previous posts in the link I provided, and re-iterated by KevinMos3.

Whether it is color-hacked version or original is irrelevant.

If the ROM size is 64KB - ProSystem won't play it.

And the question I asked was : "Before we look at a cart for this, can someone make sure that this puppy plays on the 'real thing'?" ... since I can't verify the ROM image working on an emulator at the moment. The real thing being an actual cart for the 7800 console.
