What do you pay for loose carts?

I've seen numbers ranging all over the place..so I'm curious.. What do you typically pay per cart? I'm not talking ultra rare from other collectors..I'm talking about buying from flea markets, yard sales, used game stores, thrift stores, maybe ebay etc..

 

Example: I've recently paid between $.30 and $.50 per cart and rarely ,if ever anymore, pay over $1.

From $2 to $15. Nobody 'round here sells for these fantasy sub-dollar prices.

I already have all the commons I want, so when I do purchase a cart it' s usually for a few.

My average price is probably $3. they run about $2 in the wild, but occasionally they can run up to $20. I typically won't pay more than $3 or $4 unless it's something rare. Now I have gotten some rarities for $2 or less like Shuttle Orbiter for $1.99 and the Sunrise Quest for Quintana Roo for $1.65. On the other hand, I've paid outrageous prices for games just because I wanted them. Front Line cost me $10 and Frankenstein's Monster cost me $17.

$3-4 shipped usually, but it depends on the game. It would be nice to get Video Life for that, but forget it.

Ouch.. You don't want to know what I paid for Frankenstein's Monster..

Frankenstein's Monster was the last Data Age game I needed, plus it had the manual. When I'm down to one game like that, I tend to pay a little more. What stinks is that the last Imagic cart I don't have is Atlantis II. I'll be posting pix of my Imagic collection pretty soon. It's nothing to write home about, but I lack one book of reaching my goal: Fathom. I own all the rest of the games save for Atlantis II and Fathom with instructions. I have a Fathom cart, just no book.

90% of the time I get them for $1 each, sometimes I'll pay 50¢ each and sometimes I'll pay $2 each.

 

The local flea market has them for $1 each or 6 for $5, so I typically will get 6 at a time when I'm there.
