Finally found that box in the basement

Recommended Posts

After some digging around in my basement, I finally found the box I wasn't even 100% certain I still had. It contains my collection of ColecoVision and Atari 2600 carts from my youth.

Thanks. I was glad to find it too. The exteriors are fairly grungy, so they will need some cleaning before I even let them near my CV console. Before they arrived in my basement they were in the attic of my parents house for many years. At some point in time they had the house re-roofed and some stuff in my part of the attic was covered with this icky tar dust that came through gaps in the roof beams when the old shingles being ripped off.

Still hiding down there might be some Intellivision stuff.I sort of remember trying to sell that stuff at a garage sale in the mid 1990s, but I don't recall if it sold or not.

Cool, My first experince with Colecovision was finding one in an ex-girlfriends closet & cleaning it up & playing it.

If you find the Intelly games, tell me. I have some gaps in my collection. Wouldn't mind having that CV War Room. :)

You ever find the Intelly stuff?

I found the Intellivision II console, and a bunch of empty cartridge boxes but the carts themselves have yet to be uncovered. This isn't a surprise. I dimly recall that I put all the carts in a box by themselves. I think it was one of those plastic lunchbox things that were made to hold audio tapes.
