Charlie_ #1 Posted October 21, 2012 I always enjoy the Arkanoid style games on the ST. They always seem to be very well done. I was wondering what others may be out there that I do not know of. So far I've played these: Araknoid Arkanoid II Impact Bank Busters Tonic Tiles What are any others?

sh3-rg #3 Posted October 21, 2012 Super Breakout from Atari and a high res game by the same name, Orbit the STOS game (came with it as an example?). There's a GEM breakout game by Atari, too, with a few options and paddle support
+wood_jl #4 Posted October 22, 2012 The ST is my favorite Arkanoid machine, too. When that game came out, and then again when Arkanoid II "Revenge of DOH" (or whatever the hell that is) came out, I wore a mouse out! The monochrome game pointed-to in the above post ("high res game by the same name") is TOTALLY excellent! I was pleasantly surprised with that one, and it's fun to put in a little monochrome game time with a $5 17" thrift-store monitor.

Charlie_ #7 Posted October 22, 2012 Thanks for the replies and I hope people can think of more! I wounder will the HI-Res games work with the his-res emulator Sebra ?
MrMaddog #8 Posted October 23, 2012 Thanks for the replies and I hope people can think of more! I wounder will the HI-Res games work with the his-res emulator Sebra ? They work pretty well surprisingly, better than GEM applications. Had a couple mono games like Daleks and a Lode Runner clone. That stuff reminds me of the old Macs we used in high school. And back on topic, I had a Breakout clone that was a desk accessory. Something to keep me occuplied while waiting for Stalker to download stuff...
