so what are you missing for to complete comapny x's games?

Recommended Posts

completing konami is easy :-)

Are there any companies you are trying to get a complete collection of? Keeping it within your region? how close are you?

For example, I recently got Subterrania and completed my us Imagic collection (my no. 1 2600 goal!) Also have 1 pal subterrania and 1 pal wing war, gathered along the way.

I was looking at released atari 2600 games by Atari and I am a LOT closer to completion on Atari then I -EVER- thought. I never even thought I'd try for it, but now I'm only missing Motorodeo, Ikari Warriors, Crazy Climber & Rubiks Cube (though i already have atari video cube so this is really just a label variation... do I count that?)

Completed Sega, Parker, and Activision a while ago.

Spectravision seems to be the hardest to complete imho...

How are you doing? or do you even care, and u think I'm a loon? :-)

sorry about the horrible english in the title, i had to change the way I worded to make it fit and acidentally left an old 'for' floating around.

Corrected:

So what are you missing to complete company (x)'s games

and if I had more room...

So, what games are you missing to have a complete collection of company (X)'s games?

Just thought of another one, Berentstein Bears (which always sounded like a drinking game to me :-) must be the Stein...) is the only title I'm missing to complete my us 2600 Coleco collection.

So far I think the only one I have complete is US Games, although I might be pretty damn close on Activision. Parker Bros, it isn't even close. If it's 5 and up I probably don't have it (including Star Wars Arcade).

I need boxed copies of the following to finish Activision:

Cosmic Commuter

HERO

Beamrider

OINK

Stampede

If you have one you would like to trade/sell, drop me a line.

:) That is my mission for Philly this year

I have one of each Atari CX2601-2699 that they produced, and hand assembled the ones they did not. Now on to Imagic (that's do-able), Parker Bro's, Mysitque, does it ever end?...

if you dont count label variants, why do you care about lochjaw :-)

Probably because it's a 9 out of 10. ;)

The only one close enough to mention is M-Network, all I need is He-man, Star Strike and Kool Aid Man.

The rest are at least 5+ games out of reach (but I could really give two craps about some of those schwag rare games). :)

i have doubts if NTSC telegames Nightstalker exists. i have asked on these boards several times and nobody claims to own an NTSC version. the digital press guide does not list nightstalker in the ntsc section. it also does not list telegames space attack nor astroblast in the ntsc section. do you have either of these telegames titles in ntsc format?

No, I don't have either one. Are you sure about Nightstalker? If that's the case, I have all the telegames games :)

I would love to get the following collections:

-Imagic

-Activision

-Xonox double enders (dream on!)

-Mattel (INTV)

And any other company that I can get a complete set of released games for the 2600. It's hard.

I'm not sure what I should focus on collecting.

I'll figure it out eventually.

Just missed getting Quberts Qubes last week on e(vil)bay;I bid up to $85,but it went way beyond that.

--only missing three Activision boxed games

--also missed getting Guardian two weeks ago&can't afford Lockjaw...

--Still trying to get a copy of Out of Control.

--can't seem to get my hands on Halloween either.

Problem is that the carts I am missing now are all the ones that are $100+,so about every two months I agressively try to bid on one..no luck lately.

I have the complete collections for:

Imagic (All USA Releases, except for Atlantis II)

Activision (Kabobber on a cart too, thanks to Hozer a few months back)

US Games

Absolute Entertainment

CBS

I need only Star Strike to complete my M-Network collection (I never see this one on ebay when I look!). I just finished by 20th Century Fox collection today, I found a copy of Earth Dies Screaming with a BIN of $1.39, and snatched it up quick. My copy of Crash Dive doesn't work though... :(

God I love posts like this. I always have been a big fan of sorting 2600 games by company.

I am close on a bunch of companies. These are my NTSC companies I am closest completing:

Coleco-Need the cassete tapes and kid vid unit w/cable.

Atari-Waterworld,Road Runner (I have a PAL one),I guess I technically need quadrun too b/c I only have a prototype of that game. I'm convinced that Ikari Warriors,Motorodeo, and BMX airmaster do not exist as a red label NTSC format carts. Prove me wrong!

Telesys-Ram It

Tigervision-Jawbreaker,River Patrol,Espial,Springer

Starpath-Party Mix,Rabbit Transit,Swords of Saros,Survival Island

Specrtra-Gas Hog,Master Builder,Bumper Bash,Chase the Chuckwagon

Apollo-Lochjaw (Hey the rom is different so it technically isn't a label variation. And Jaws is one of my favorite movies. :)

Sears-I'm missing Cannon Man and 10 or so other titles.

The other companies I haven't listed I either have every title or no titles.

As of this post I have 430 NTSC US released titles, unique by company released, not counting label variations. I'm more proud that 350 of those have instructions though. :)

I'm trying to focus on Spectravideo, and am searching for 'China Syndrome' and 'Cross Force' (preferably PAL).

Spectravideo games are what I always played from a young age (Challenge of Nexar is my favourite game), so I am trying hard to get as many of these as possible.

Regards

Olaf
