SDrive Nuxx components and 1Mb RAM expansionfor sale?

Hello, I have not been very active in the community as of late because all of my Ataris are out being repaired, or waiting to be shipped out for a repair when my Amiga is returned to me. In fact I have one Atari that has been in Texas for about the past three years.

 

On top of all of this, am I also between jobs, I need to move for the second time this year, and I really need to raise some money to establish an apartment as well as try to set things up to go back into school.

 

It does not look like I am going to be able to do anything with my Ataris any time soon, and I really need to raise some cash, so...

 

...I am highly considering selling my 1Mb RAM expansion for the 600Xl (desinged by Candle).

 

If anyone is interested and would like me to post photos I can do so. I just wanted to post in here first and see if there is any interest.

 

The SDrive Nuxx would of course need to be assembled first, and a housing would need to be purchased.

I think I paid Consumer $40 for the kit, so I'd like to try to get that back out of it. I have all the components he shipped out to me and everything has been stored well. Would you like a photo?

Out of curiosity, how much would all the extra components total to? What would be a reasonable price to ask for the SDrive parts that I have?

The enclosure would be the most expensive cost at about $25, the rest of the items are inexpensive resistors etc, so maybe another $40-$50 in parts.

 

Now that Mimo has backed out I may be interested again, I'm not at home right now but I will PM you later.

Orph is correct, but some of the parts are not available in the UK, and the minimum for shipping those parts is $30 or more from rs components or farnell in the UK

Nuxx drive is sold. There may be interest in the 1Mb RAM kit yet, I am just waiting to here back from the fellow to make sure.

You need to upgrade the 600xl to 64k to do anything useful, either by the internal mod (best one IMO) or by finding a plug in 1064 ram upgrade. or, buy an 800xl and get 64k AND compisite video output (s-video if you add one wire and a resistor.As for a multicart, personally I don't think this is the best storage solution, as you will still require either the USB device to plug the cart into or an sio2pc device to be able to load any games onto the cart. A better solution would be to just use sio2pc if you can have a pc near your Atari, or an sio2sd device.

Installation completed. On this newly 600 XL Atari the upgrade work perfect from the first power-on, in addition to my 800 XL one who have timing issues a logic 74LS08 ic.

Now maybe its time to add also the VBXE video upgrade, who have stored for one year until now. But I can not decide which one of the two!!!
