Vectrex Serial Number Base V 2.0

Dear Vectrex Friends and Collectors - today is the launch of the Vectrex Serial Number Data Base! There are a few Serial Number Bases out there but i tried to create one for research and fun. Please add your Vectrex. It takes about 5 Minutes if you have your Vectrex at the side. Please take your time because once submitted your data can only be changed by the admin (only done periodically).

Sadly the DB was hacked - again. I try to recover as much as possible. I hope the script kid does not come back.

Yes we have been spammed - again and again - within 24 hours about 200 new entries. Is anyone here that knows how to add a CAPTCHA to a cakePHP made Database ? Actually the Serial DataBase is spammed by robots - i need a way to prevent that. but do not know how. To sad.

I have disable the "Add Vectrex" function in the hope the robot gets an errormessage and the script kid cleans its URL from the Bot list. Lets see - i start it in about 7 days again to see if there are still constant spam mails. Stay tuned.
