Utopia
According to my blog, these are the enhancements made in the Elektronite version: – Smoother gameplay, 3x more responsive controls – Improved enemy AI, nearly identical to the arcade – Never heard before voices, discovered in the arcade's ROM – The infamous DK "growl", including an alternate "correct" version (selectable) – Option to play using the Japanese screen ordering (no repetition of screens, pie factory is the second board!) Thanks Carl for the clarification.

Games For Your Intellivision
You can only 'control the barrels' with the Elektronite version called DK Arcade, or D2K Arcade.
DoctorTom
Elektronite D2K controls very well with the disc, too (as well as the disc can, for sure). I was very impressed. And I must say, those Jumpman Returns levels are no joke! A lot tougher than the original DK levels...
