+Larry #1 Posted November 8, 2012 IIRC, there is a shareware set of Basic subroutines that was published in the 1980's or 1990's (This was not the "Basic Turbocharger" from Alpha Systems.) I'm sure that I have it, but can't remember the name of it, so I can't find it among my software. Pretty sure it was on Compuserve for years. Anyone remember it's name? Thanks, Larry
+Larry #2 Posted November 8, 2012 Well, after much looking, I found it. The copy that I found was from the Page 6 PD library. It had been "customized," so this is not precisely the same as the original. However, as best I can determine, all the original program files are the same. The original disk likely had Dos 2.5 or Dos 2.0. This copy has MyDos 4.55, so change to suit your preferences. The title is the "Atari Basic Power Pack" by Bob Duhamel. Same author as the Technical Reference manual (not from Atari). Here's a copy if anyone is interested. -Larry EDIT: Here's a link to the Page 6 disk: http://www.page6.org/pd_lib/standard/pd_065.htm Atari Basic Power Pack.atr
+Larry #3 Posted November 9, 2012 Here is a better upload, I believe -- it is the way I remember this operating (from years ago). 1) This was on Compuserve, listed as PWRPAK.DCM from 1988. 2) This copy has a modified Dos 2.5 plus DISKIO (a mini-Dos). It was written by a doctor (radiologist, I think) in our user group. Published in Antic. 3) As I remember the original, this also has DUP.SYS for Dos 2.5. 4) If you boot with BASIC, then DISKIO loads. If you boot without BASIC, then regular DUP.SYS loads. 5) ENTER the .RUT files. -Larry Atari Basic Power Pack.atr
