Ultimate 1mb / Side 2

Hi there! I'm new here ^_^

Unfortunately there's not much activity in this thread lately... hope someone sees my msg.

 

I've ordered and installed the Lotharek Side2/Ultimate combo too. After removing the OS and MMU and putting a socket in place.

I found out the bunch got too high inside my 130XE :-( So after removing the sockets and placing the stuff without it, it fits.

BUT! It seems my work was in vain.

 

I cannot get my Side2 to load the loader. If I disable the SpartaDos the machine makes the rattling noise and end up with a black screen and only two lines (one green, one blue).

Does anybody have a clue?

NebulaH: I also had this issue for a few hours before I find a way out of it. The switch should be on top/back position, then enter the HELP+RESET menu, enable SpartaDOS X: and set SIDE hardware to On with button. Save, then press L for a second. Voila!

 

I suppose you have figured it out already, but this is just for the next one having this problem.
