The Walking Dead Physical Release

Just seen this in the online Gamestop Ad. Figured they would release it eventually in physical form so I held off buying it online. What are the thoughts of those that bought the online episodes ? Do you plan on buying it twice to own a physical copy ?

Kirkman has said that, unlike typical zombie games such as Left 4 Dead, it will focus more on characterization and emotion than action.

 

Sounds like another barely interactive game full of cutscenes. I hope not, because I'd like to play an official Walking Dead game that would be similar to Dead Island.

Saw one of those 'plug and play' rifles with The Walking Dead theme last night too.

One of the best games I've played in a long ass time. This game IS NOT for everyone. It's like some other telltale games and sort of like the old Lucasarts games. It's interactive storytelling and a damn good one at that. It's all about the choices you make and very well done.

 

Be warned, this is more like reading an choose your own adventure comic book series. If you love this sort of thing and horror games in particular I would rate this close to around a 9 out of 10.

I love it and I own the digital version.
