marillion #1 Posted November 17, 2012 Just curious if one exists. I purchased a Hulk one and was wondering if the Spidey one is out there somewhere. It's 17.5" wide by 23" tall. Thanks. Peace, Chip

atari181 #6 Posted November 18, 2012 That's awesome Chip! Where did you get that?
marillion #7 Posted November 18, 2012 I bought it from eBay. The person had several different ones. Super Cobra, Popeye, Decathlon, Astro Chase (for the 5200) and this Hulk one. Peace, Chip
cvga #8 Posted November 18, 2012 Wow, nice find. Did you buy all of them?
marillion #9 Posted November 18, 2012 No. Wasn't really interested in the others (though they were cheap) and don't really have the room. I'd like the Spider-Man one to frame with the Hulk one since I'm a comic book junkie as well. Peace, Chip
y-bot #10 Posted November 18, 2012 Yes, there is a Spider-Man poster. I had one and sold it a few years ago.
marillion #11 Posted November 19, 2012 Crap! Do you remember where it went? Peace, Chip
y-bot #12 Posted November 19, 2012 Sold to a well known collector here. I'm sure they are not interested in reselling it.
y-bot #13 Posted November 19, 2012 What did the others sell for? I think I got $100 for mine but I might have taken a little less, can't remember.
marillion #14 Posted November 19, 2012 Well, damn...I should've bought the rest! I had no idea they were worth that much. They sold very cheaply. I won't pry as far as the name of the collector you sold Spider-man to, but could you ask on my behalf if they'd consider selling it? I appreciate the reply here, regardless. Peace, Chip
y-bot #15 Posted November 20, 2012 I know they are not interested in selling it because they have asked me if I have more several times.

sega_SHARK #17 Posted November 20, 2012 Rom Hunter aka Poster Hunter. That Hulk poster is really sweet! A Spidey poster would be a good buddy for it. Maybe it's because I started reading comics in the mid to late '80s, but Hulk and Spider-Man and X-men are what I'm into. I'm sorry, but I could give a crap about an Avengers or Captain America or Iron Man movie. Hulk used to have the best writers, Spider-man got Todd as a penciller, and Uncanny X-men had Chris Claremont as a writer. Marvel sunk money into those books in the mid '80's to the mid '90s. Although I've never owned the Spidey 2600 game, I LOVED the gameplay to it. I downloaded a ZX Spectrum emulator a couple of years ago in order to play the Questprobe Spider-man, Hulk, and Fantastic Four text adventure games. Pretty fun stuff if you like text adventures. Spider-man has the best design of that series.
marillion #18 Posted November 20, 2012 I know they are not interested in selling it because they have asked me if I have more several times. Well, now I'm upset that I didn't buy the others to offer some sort of a trade. Dammit! Peace, Chip
Andre81 #19 Posted November 21, 2012 I saw the posters on eBay and thought about buying them, but I found it odd that they all had the same measurements (Parker, Activision) and the size didn't match those of the originals.
marillion #20 Posted November 21, 2012 What were the sizes of the originals? The Hulk poster is on a heavier stock...it's not paper-thin. Also, where would they get a high enough resolution image of the Hulk artwork to use for it? There's only one prototype box, right? Peace, Chip
