0078265317 #176 Posted July 5, 2013 (edited) And now I just got +1.2 meters. Definitely hard with keyboard only. Edited July 5, 2013 by 0078265317
toptenmaterial #177 Posted July 5, 2013 As state above it's zelda's adventure. But how is it possible to say a game is bad, while u never played it. Just because somebody says it's bad? If you gone say a game is bad. At least play it, before you can make a statement. Or on what is you're opinion based? You are right, of course. It's kind of like the E.T. hype. Better to say, "this game has a poor reputation" or something like that. But I stand by my validation of Zelda II, that game is pure hack-n-slash awesomeness. Gregory DG #178 Posted July 6, 2013 There are worse games on the NES besides Skull & Crossbones. It's not really like the arcade classic, but it's okay.
Mxyzptlk #179 Posted July 6, 2013 O.K. after reading about QWOP and watching some you tube videos, and then trying to play for the last 2 hours and failing miserably. I can honestly say that QWOP is a F'in P.O.S. that is so impossibly hard that it is not even remotely playable. It makes Froggo's Karate seem like fun. As of this point in my life I can honestly say that QWOP is the worst game I have ever...????played??? I do not even know if I was actually playing this P.O.S. as every single thing I did was exactly opposite of what I was trying to do.

If I can derp along on one knee for a few meters I'm thrilled. The game never fails to make me laugh though.
Reaperman #181 Posted July 6, 2013 I dunno, I made it over the hurdle at 50m (in my own way) before I got bored and killed that guy off. It certainly wasn't any fun--it's a class of game where the entire difficulty curve comes from fighting with the stupid controls. Guitar Hero hits the same mark to some degree, but adds speed reading to the mix (which is also no fun).

Gao #183 Posted July 8, 2013 I've never seen anything worse than Crazy Bus, a pirate Genesis game that you can find on some South American multicarts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbCNKq7A5i4
retrorussell #184 Posted July 8, 2013 I remember hating Mystery Quest for the NES. Milon's Secret Castle was tons better, and I didn't really like it that much either.
Gabriel #185 Posted July 8, 2013 I've never seen anything worse than Crazy Bus, a pirate Genesis game that you can find on some South American multicarts. I'm not convinced that Crazy Bus counts. When I first heard of it and tried to trace down just exactly what the hell it was, I read that it was more of a programming how-to demo. It allegedly only exists to show how to do some basic things on the Genesis, and was never meant to be distributed in the manner which it currently is. If that version of the origin of Crazy Bus and Crazy Bus 2 is true (which I can't say for certain, in any event), then I'd say that disqualifies it from being the worst game of all time. DZ-Jay #187 Posted July 9, 2013 Guitar Hero is a heckuva lot more intuitive than QWOP. The original Guitar Hero was epic. QWOP, is, well, I'm not really sure what it is.
Gabriel #188 Posted July 9, 2013 The original Guitar Hero was epic. QWOP, is, well, I'm not really sure what it is. I don't know. I had more fun playing QWOP than I have playing No More Heroes 2, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, Bayonetta, or several other games I've played over the past half decade. "Basic" is the right word for it. I can tell from the unpolished shareware look and the tap-dancing penis monster logo that this is a "game" designed with BasiEgaXorz. http://devster.monkeeh.com/sega/basiegaxorz/ I'm a big fan of BASIC, and have designed games for two systems using the language. However, what I've seen of BasiEgaXorz doesn't entice me to give that dialect of the language a try. It's very rough and ugly, and I don't think it fully exploits the capabilities of the Genesis the way Dragon BASIC did the Game Boy Advance, or Batari BASIC does the Atari 2600. retrorussell #191 Posted July 15, 2013 Any opinions on Silver Surfer for the NES? Not worst, but hard as s**t!
Lentzquest #192 Posted July 15, 2013 Silver Surfer is far from the absolute worst. I had the joy of buying this game for full retail as a kid because I loved the Silver Surfer comics. Its got decent graphics and some of the best music ever composed for the NES. It's hard as hell but not an entirely bad game. Also, if you're not opposed to things like the Game Genie then Silver Surfer's shortcomings can pretty much be fixed. I can't say the same for games like Sssnake, Action 52, Superman 64, or White Men Can't Jump.

KJTTJK gives you invincibility, and CKWJT4 gives you full weapons.
high voltage #194 Posted July 16, 2013 (edited) To determine the absolute worst games of all time you first must play ALL games on EVERY platform, otherwise how would you know Edited July 16, 2013 by high voltage
