Intellicart info/value?

Thanks for the info nukeshed. any idea what these normally sale for? there is one on ebay at the moment . im sure it will probably go for more than i would spend on one .

there are to type the pne i saw on ebay is the older version with wires and not hat good. the newer one intllicart 3 is better but sells now for about 300 to 500.

Thanks Voltron, well i for sure cant afford 300 to 500, so this old one shouldnt go anywhere near that price range in theory? unless someone just wants it to have one . thanks for the info!

You mean the "Cuttle Cart 3"? That's a different beast, though made by the same guy.

 

The Intellicart offers a serial connection to a PC so that you can upload one game. The Cuttle Cart 3 allows you to use a Micro-SD card to store as many ROMs as it can hold and plug it into the Intellivision. It's like a re-programmable multi-cart.

 

The Intellicart is now more like a piece of history. I don't know how much its worth. I do know that I wouldn't pay more than $250 for a CC3, though. $500 is outrageous!

 

Better to wait for someone like Joe to come along with a replacement. Joe, did you hear that? Get cracking with the hardware! :)

Yeah cuttle cart 3 is what i meant.. yesterday was a long day, and sleep deprivation was taking its toll.

I'd say the Intellicart is probably in the $150-$200 range. Since the CC3 is out now, as DJ said, the intellicart is more of a "wow that's SWEET" piece of Intellivision history.

 

It'll still work, but it's like driving a Saab from the 1990s :)
