AtariLeaf
Has anyone ever ordered anything from a website called GameTrog? I ordered a couple of cheap CIB Genesis games but was wondering what other people's experiences were with this online store.

Crazy Climber
I've ordered around $1,000+ worth of stuff from them. A+

Jagosaurus
Thanks for the heads up. I use their site often when checking sega power supply specs. Also where I refer ppl when they have sega hook up questions. Never once clicked on their store link... bookmarked!
Jagosaurus
How did you know if they were CIB? Actual pics of items? Or did you message him? Some note complete, no manual... others don't. Hm....
AtariLeaf
Actual pics. Not all descriptions say but I'm going by the pics. The ones I've checked where it said complete, no manual, etc did match the picture. I bought both Time and World versions of Carmen Sandiego for the Genesis. Time for example has a CIB version and a cart only version. Edited November 29, 2012 by AtariLeaf
Crazy Climber
They use actual pics, there will usually be a letter grade somewhere also (A ,B, C, etc..). The discription will also mention if it's cartridge only if it doesn't have a picture. Most of there stuff is "gamer" quality and not 10/10 collector quality (at least from my experience) but for the most part it's priced dirt cheap, I've got some smoking deals from them
Jagosaurus
Nice! Appreciate it. Adding to my list of reputable retro stores!
gzsfrk
I've bought from them on a couple of occasions, and they were solid both times. Better than fair prices, and some really handy stuff they sell as well (like cap kits for various consoles). Highly recommended.
AtariLeaf
Update: Been emailing back and forth and my games were already mailed Priority to Canada. Seems like a very nice fellow (Eric) that I've been communicating with. At this point I have nothing but good to say about them and will use them again. gzsfrk
Yep--great website to do business with. Although I do wonder if the "Eric" in the emails is really just one guy. (The emails I've gotten from them have always been from "Eric" as well.) Kind of reminds me of the Monty Python "Fish License" skit:
Crazy Climber
I think it's a team of two people IIRC
