+cmart604 #51 Posted December 3, 2012 Woohoo, got another email from Michael Garrett today! Real winner, this guy! ..Al Wow! This guy is awesome, definite "seller of the year" material. Lol!
ghsqb #52 Posted December 3, 2012 Albert, this guy is a typical Internet bully. He's a real tough guy hiding behind his keyboard. That was the reason I initially posted all his details....bully the bully. This guy talks and acts like he's something to be feared, but if you look at pictures of this guy he's a twig. You say the word and we'll open the floodgates again.
voltron #53 Posted December 3, 2012 lol, internet bullie, he reminds me of the amazon seller who threatened to talk to other sellers if i did not change my review. i gave him a neg bc he cancelled the sale and relisted at a higher price.
bikeguychicago #54 Posted December 6, 2012 User 'jbanks25' on eBay also seems to fit this title. Apparently, this person enjoys buying all of the Inteligentvision releases only to resell them for near 4x the original price.

That is what I have done on a couple of things.....I refuse to list at a HUGE buy it now price. Ya know...i loved ebay a whole lot more when it was an "auction" website along time ago. Buy it now has ruined it.

Especially for someone like you that will use profits from game sales to re-contribute positive things to this hobby, such as buttons, your awesome site, and a few other projects that have to remain secret for a little while longer. There's a big difference between guys like you and guys like Pikachu07 and Robotkingnes and bigtimcut.
voltron #59 Posted December 6, 2012 (edited) Yeah we all those sellers. One seller offered me Christmas Carol for $300 while the sales were still going on, and offered space patrol at a discount for 275 if I got both of them otherwise 300 each. DZ-Jay #60 Posted December 6, 2012 I can sell you a Christmas Carol cheaper, for $299. If you buy two I can give you a $5 discount. Shipping is extra. I'll throw in a bonus Las Vegas Poker & Blackjack loose cart for free.
JasonlikesINTV #61 Posted December 7, 2012 I bought extras of many of the newer releases, but I refuse to sell them outright for 2 reasons: 1. I really intend to play one and keep the other minty 2. If I do decide to unload some of the duplicates, I'll trade them for other rare titles. I really can't justify spending $200-1500 for many of the games I'm missing, but if 2 years from now someone is willing to trade me a Stadium Mud Buggies, for a Spina the Bee, I'll probably do it. Rarity is rarity and most of these releases were only available for a matter of months. If I can spend $50 for an extra copy now and trade for a $300 game down the road, I'm OK with that. Sure, I only paid $50 for the game, but maybe the other guy only paid $15 for the Stadium Mud Buggies back in 1990. If they are equivalently rare, then it's probably a fair trade. Plus, instead of just pocketing the profits, I'm obtaining a game off of my list and helping another collector with theirs.
stc2009 #62 Posted December 7, 2012 There's something more honourable about trading a new limited release title (or selling with a starting price at or lower than the sale price) but selling six months after a game was released for $50-70 for in excess of $200 does seem a little like price gouging. That's ridiculous. Did you answer with "But why wouldn't i just buy them directly from LTO for the regular price as opposed to letting you bend me over the barrel?"
