oyamafamily
ROBOTRON 2084 (7800 VERSION / DEFAULT MODE) - 1,094,750 WOO HOOOO! Broke my target score of 1 MILLION POINTS! Edited December 9, 2012 by oyamafamily

roadrunner
I didn't even know they made Robotron for the Lynx. C64: lol That's the easy way to get a bonus point. There's no need to play a game for 10 - 12 hours to get 1 bonus point, any score will do.
BillyHW
C64 is easier for me cause I've got VICE working reasonably well on my Mac. Plus just about every game was made for it. I'm trying controller scheme A right now. It seems to me to be the most logical one. Too bad there's no way to set up the SNES Smash TV controls...I think that was a very good setup for these types of games.
PFG 9000
616,250 I was really hoping to top SwedenLynxer's legendary high score, but I can't even get close. I'm using Control setup A.
roadrunner
I find option A to be more difficult. I got over 100k a few times but i pefer option C
roadrunner
As the points stand right now PFG 9000 and i are tied. I think one change for next season is to award more points for winning a round. PFG 9000 has proven to be the better player over the course of the season. Should there be any other changes for next season? Have a bonus or make up round?
PFG 9000
One of us could submit a score from a different version of Robotron. You're the one who put all the work into organizing this tournament, so you deserve a nice Win for your work.

You missed a few rounds and your a better player than me.

darthkur
Now to get some extra points. 375,625 (Atari 5200) 122,725 (Apple ][) 135,775 (Sinclair Spectrum) 171,025 (Vic-20) 285,750 (C64) 247,250 (MAME) 2,013,350 (7800) 844,950 (Atari ST) 749,700 (Game.Com) As you see in the last three systems I still had a bunch of lives left but it just got too boring.
roadrunner
I wasn't clear with the rules for the bonus point. It's supposed to be just play one version but since it's the last round of the season and you missed the previous 11 rounds i'll let it slide. If anyone else wants to play another version or 2 of Robotron for some bonus points go ahead.
darthkur
Woops. It was fun though.

classicgamer_27330
well I've tried on emulation, and it doesn't show movements until I bring up the menus, and after that I'm dead. so I have the wonderful score of 1,500. I'm using Handy with windows 7 heres the bonus, personal record set for this version Edited December 31, 2012 by classicgamer_27330

oyamafamily
What version is that? (And it works for me in Handy for Mac. ) classicgamer_27330 chose Atari 7800 version to play Robotron (I know this Robotron Opening Screen). I've just used ProSystem Emulator to play the 7800 version of Robotron. @classicgamer_27330: you MUST specify the platform used to play an alternate version of Robotron (Arcade/MAME, Atari 5200, Atari 7800, etc.).
